Syntapa Technologies was originally founded in 1984 under the name Mallorn Information Systems Innovators Inc. (MISI), and we operated as a professional services and ”best of breed” applications systems provider focused on providing integrated enterprise-wide system solutions. In 1996, we released our eIS (Enterprise Infonet System) and the company changed its name to Syntapa Technologies Inc. to better match with its focus on providing eIS COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) business applications and services to meet the needs of regulatory, associations, and membership driven organizations.
Syntapa’s eIS applications suite was the International Winner of the Microsoft Business Applications of the Year Award in the “Not for Profit” category in 1997.
Today, Syntapa Technologies is a Canadian Microsoft Certified Partner, providing an enterprise wide browser-based platform comprised of Case Management, Constituent Relationship Management, Business Process Automation and Workflow, Information (documents, email,.. ) Management, Collaboration, Web Self-Service extranet applications and integration to accounting packages to allow organizations to easily manage their everyday work in one seamless, easy, and cost-effective solution. In essence, we help organizations manage information, people, and processes within an Unified Business Systems Solution framework.
Over the last 2 years, Syntapa has invested in gaining SharePoint expertise and experience, and we configure our suite of applications and modules so that we can leverage and incorporate the Microsoft SharePoint platform along with all of its benefits into our IMS (Intranet Management System) solutions. SharePoint provides a portal and intuitive user interface with rich collaboration and document/records management functionality, and interoperability with Microsoft Exchange and Office applications as well as integrations to an organization’s Line-Of-Business (LOB) applications. The result is an enterprise-wide unified communications and business system’s solution designed and implemented to work seamlessly together, providing industry-specific functionality and design, through leveraging Microsoft’s significant R&D investments.
